Ages: 13 – 17 years
Based in the world’s fashion capital, the International School of Milan’s Fashion and Design course is led by Nicoletta Morozzi, Fashion Scientific Advisor of NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), in collaboration with design experts and fashion specialists, Lorenza Branzi and Teresa Maccapani Missoni. During the two-week programme, students will gain a unique perspective into the world of Milanese fashion and further understand its connection to progressive visual art and design practices.
Participants will be involved in a sustainable fashion project and learn the stages of production, from design to realisation. Tuition covers photo-shooting skills and visits to renowned fashion, and design cultural landmarks, such as the Missoni and Atelier factories, while exciting excursions with fellow participants to Triennale di Milano and Fondazione Prada, serve as a highlight to the trip for fashion-orientated individuals.
Students enjoy a wealth of sightseeing excursions between classes and improve their existing English and Italian language skills. Industry experts in each area work with camp members to proactively deliver a final presentation detailing invaluable skills learnt in the duration of the unique international programme. This one in-a-lifetime camp offers Inspired learners a valuable, practical insight into the design industry while they enjoy the fashion capital of the world.
